Fine Art Dance Portraits
We offer creative portrait sessions for individual dancers. These are a great way to get photos for auditions, have a dance theme to your senior portraits, or just get some beautiful artistic images to decorate your home.
What to Wear
The sky is the limit when choosing your wardrobe for your portraits! You can bring casual dance wear, costumes from past performances, street clothes or any mix of the above. Any of these will photograph beautifully, and you will decide the direction for your shoot.
What to Bring
Props can add a lot to your session. Here are some suggestions for props you can bring with you to your shoot:
- Musical Instrument
- Other sports equipment
- Awards or Trophies
- Pet (this depends on location of shoot- this MUST be okayed with us before the shoot)
- Other hobbies
Our Process
Upon booking your session we ask for a session fee based on the amount of looks you would like to shoot. Starting session fee is $150 and includes two looks. Additional looks are $50 each. This fee covers our time and any expenses we may incur for your shoot.
After the session we spend a couple weeks editing and retouching your images. Each look typically yields at least 3-10 retouched images for you to choose from. Photos will then be posted online in a private gallery.
From your private gallery you may choose any or all images to purchase as prints or digital images. Any additional retouching may be requested at this time, and cost will be assessed based on the difficulty of the request.
